Let's for a moment imagine The Zeitgeist Movie future scenario:

Let's say that within next 6 months, the entire population of this planet would have an RFID chip implanted under the skin. Let's say that the RFID chip will become a new excuse for "better safety" against "war on terror". Let's say that RFID chip will become mainstream and trendy (like Lady GaGa or Angelina Jolie are wearing an RFID chip). Let's say that the only way that you will ID yourself, pay bills, travel, get medicine, be online, etc is by having an RFID chip implanted.

Let's say that there will be no other option than having an RFID chip implanted under your skin.

Would you say yes to an RFID chip?

I would reject this with the biggest NO I have ever said in my life.

That would then signal for me to start bartering.

Never, my life was perved into enough.

Anyone who would take a chip, is you know what and a deck of cards.

I've already got several medical implants littered with all manner of chips & circuitry so what's one more? I don't think I do anything that's particularly interesting to anyone in a day and quite frankly, I think whoever got stuck with the job of tracking me would be bored to tears!
I don't have anything to hide.

And I might add that we are heading towards an RFID chipped society already. We are more and more online: Internet, cell phones, Facebook, Twitter. Next step is being online 24/7.

I'd say that this society is almost begging for an RFID chip.

If the RFID chip will be a replacement to Internet, cell phones, Facebook, Twitter, etc. - than I'm sure that 2/3rd of the Earth's population would volunteer for an RFID chip without any questions asked.

Peace,
Mulder

Unfortunetly, the masses would most likely follow this plan and the people who resisted would be see as crazies with Tin Hats.

I for one would simply move to another country that wasn't so industrialized to prevent myself from being subjected to that kind of tyranny.

Jamaica or perhaps Tahiti are in my range of places that I would thoroughly enjoy. Then again there is the possibly that people completely and uterly freak out over this issue.

It could be the tipping point to the revolution we are so desperatly in need of. Only time will tell I guess.

Kathryn Albrecht makes some very good points about the potential dangers of RFID chip technology in this interview:

Why does the RFID chip have to be implanted, why can't I just carry it around in my pocket.
I very much doubt that any government could ever force a chip to be forcibly implanted.

There will always be an option; perhaps just none one that we care to entertain. I would say NO to any chip.

Leveraged into a position of my loved ones being harmed or "disappeared" unless I accepted the chip? Sure, I'd have no choice. They'd better put it deep, otherwise, that puppy is coming back out

Paraphrasing Charlton Heston:

They will only ever tag me from my cold, dead DNA

One of the best summations about RFID i read was something like: "The security is safe, the analogy would be building a house out of 10 foot thick steel walls, however they then placed the key under the front doormat". Basically, if you have intent, it is easily cracked.

The whole evil, insidious plan of RFID imho, is:

1. Make it easier for people to augment their debt
2. The data structure allows for biometric additions - eyeball scan, fingerprint, etc
3. Anyone with a scanner can just brush past you and capture your unique details. Once your boimetrics are stolen, then you can't just request a new PIN.
4. The RFID will work in tandem with a central database. If you don't pay a utility bill for example, then the card will flag or block you walking through an airport.

I think this video sums it up the best. With RFID you will leave an electronic footprint, no matter what you do and where you go. Sounds kinda NWO-ish.

The solution is here; an amazing read.

NO! But that doesn't mean that they can't submissively put it in our everyday items. I.E.: cars, wallets, credit cards. etc.

the answer that would come from me, HELL FLIPPIN NO!

RFID, my arse, i would never ever let them implant me with an ID chip so they can track me.

IM not paranoid, i like my privacy, ill take the chip out myself, and crush it. nothing a knife, some whiskey, and thread/needle cant fix!

I'd say that if widespread chipping of dissidents (anyone) were to come in effect, and destruction of the chips were not an option, then perhaps mass reprogramming hacker-mischief would be on order.

One would only have to ctrl+c / ctrl+v any person or wanted terrorist to, say, all of manhattan.

The problem of these chips, is that they are insecure by design.

The OP is right. It will be VERY EASY to enforce RFIDs upon the population. Who accepts endless blatant bail-outs will also accept blatant chipping.

================================================
“Dear customers, unfortunately, as a security measure against terrorism (as well as against child pornography, copyright violations, and global warming), we are forced to only accept customer identification on the basis of implanted RFID chips in the near future. Of course we are very sorry, blabla blabla… ”. ================================================

This will be introduced by banks, gas stations, public buildings, polling stations, department stores, and so on. No chance to do anything against it. Especially when the chipping's backed by the MSM.

I am more worried about the tag itself. We have our cats tagged electronically. The tags were injected into the scruff of the neck. On our young cat the tag is pretty much where it was injected, but our older cat its moved, down and round the front of her chest, and is not poised above one of her front paws.

Ok, what happens if they tag people and the damned things move, will you be accused of trying to interfere with it, what if it moves somewhere and causes problems, what if you get zapped by magnets or something and it gets wiped, and so on.

Would it be possible to extract the chip? Leave it at home, go and do your thing, then come home and slip it back inside?

Just the words "will you be accused of interfering with it" is the clue that anyone that gives too much power to an employee is more dangerous than the leaders (who are employees of the people and should really be followers) themselves. They don't this guys! We do this because we don't get off our backsides to get together and serve notice that this system is being replaced.
I'm more concerned that we are already chipped through bloodwork and vaccinations. I know I have reason to suspect another kind of implant as well. But as for saying yes, they get a no. They get a citizens arrest if they show up actually.

Thanks for the avatar compliment but I think if they're already putting chips/tags in something as benign as cheese packaging, then it's probably already in my spinal implants anyway.
Since I can't live without them, I can't exactly start digging them out with common kitchen utensils.
I imagine they're also in the medical tag I have to wear on my wrist and the ID cards in my wallet too. Airport security is always heaps of fun but at least with my new implants I can comfortably walk through the anti-theft gates without getting zapped!
Seriously, if they're already everywhere anyway...

If you want to get them banned, hey I'm all for it. I just don't know how someone like me would execute the plan you come up with because I am completely dependent on my implants. When my pump needs it's battery changed in another 2 years, I just can't say, "No. Let me know when they come out with an RFID-free version!" Most of you already enjoy a sort of freedom that eludes me.

So, rather than fussing over things I cannot change, I choose to invest my energy elsewhere-- and leave the dirty work to people who could survive a more, low-tech existence (by that, I mean you could purge your home of RFID tags & chips by choosing to live a simpler life, in the event they become mandated by law). That simply isn't an option for me but I wish all of you the best of luck because the organic parts of me actually agree with you.

I would take the chip.

I already have a son that's trying to live off the grid. He's almost as paranoid as I am. His friends feel pretty much the same.

I would take the chip so that I could help those who are resisting against it. They are young, I am old. I could get them food, medicine, supplies, what ever it is they need.

If I were still a young man I would say no. I'm not.

I would still do what I can for the next generation.

Chip me, and I will use that chip to destroy you.

Just my thoughts,

wupy
